Game 13 - Woodhouse (Home)
Date - Saturday 16th July 2006
Well this week the Match Report is going to be short. Ilkley scored 367 which is a new 1st team record and star of the game was Racks who smashed his way to 147 in 35 overs, made an amazing run-out to remove the Woodhouse opener, bowled 1.3 overs and bagged two for zip AND got fielding point! Well Done Racks, class!
Anyone who was lucky enough to witness Craig's innings saw a batsmen at the top of his game. He played majestic shots though the 'V' throughout his innings, none more so than the third ball of the game where he dispatched a massive 6 onto the changing room roof playing a brutal cover drive! The Ilkley lads and spectators were happy to sit in the sunshine and watch Craig pepper the boundary at regular intervals. Thanks for the memories mate but please can we have some more!
Also - Well done Santy Dad who weighed in with 67 and all the Ilkley bowlers who between them skittled Woodhouse for 192.
Just a note about the opposition who all showed a touch of class and shook hands with Craig at half-time... superb!
Keep it up lads and roll on Alwoodley!
COME ON THE ICC!
