Well Done the Juniors!

Congratulations to the Under 17's who on Sunday beat the old enemy Burley in the Dennison Cup!

Bails was nonchalent in scoring his century, playing some majestic shots thought the covers and some imperious strokes through the onside in a quite faultless display any batsmen would have been proud of. Crucially he got the help he required at the end when he and Robert Hill ran excellently between the wickets and Rob got batted well for his 16.

The Ilkley bowling was a joy to watch also as much like the England team they hunted in pairs and gave no room for error to the Burley batsmen, Carcus bowling particularly aggressively and Danny Bott also expertly as his figures highlighted taking 6-3-14-2.

Credit must go to every Ilkley player however as they all played brilliantly in front of their own supporters and brought the trophy home!

Well done lads!

Jimmy Hill during the victory over Burley!
